Pirate Penguins is a World of Warcraft guild located on the PvE server Cenarius. We are a small, casual raiding community looking forward to the WotLK expansion. We are primarily based on the Pacific coast and Hawaii, so we have members online from around 7 PM to 2 AM Pacific Time.

Respect and Human Basics
R-E-S-P-E-C-T: sock it to me! Respect the guild. Respect other players. Respect yourself (note: different from "respec"; we only wish we could apply 5 more talent points to Self-Actualization). This includes treating others as you’d like to be treated, and being a responsible, accountable member of both our little community and the WoW community as a whole.

Been thinking about ideas for recruiting, and some of the issues we've been talking about. I thought we should have a place to deposit ideas, and a summary of thoughts so far. Slow vs. quick growth

• In favor of slow growth: the D.Pengs grew slowly and formed a very solid base. We attracted like-minded folks with the name and the website. People who joined up just because they wanted to be in a random guild didn't last long anyway. We can form alliances instead of doing one big recruiting push.
• In favor of quick growth: we need more people, and pickups are getting frustrating. There really aren't enough people on at any given time, or even at one particular time. We want to remain a laid back guild, without attendance requirements and such, but in order to do so we need more people to cover the gaps.

Hey guys, we need rank names.

I don't think we're going to change the number of ranks from Drunkens. So we need replacements for:

• Initiate
• Member
• Veteran
• Officer
• Guild Master

I have been thinking I need some mods to help me with all my various occupations in WoW. The problem is, what and where do I find the good ones? Can anyone offer suggestions?
