I was suprised and gratified today to see that Blizzard will be selling a hardware authentication module to work with WoW: Blizzard hardware authenticator.

It's nice that they are making an active effort to prevent your account from being hacked.

I performed a Drupal 6.2 upgrade from our old 4.7.8 install. This was for security patches as well as future expansion of the website. This is just a stop along the way of some changes around here (for those of you who are getting bored of this bluemarine theme, that's going to go too).

I added Wowhead tooltips to the site. All you have to do is make links to wowhead in your posts.

I'm concerned about security too, but I glanced at the code and it looked ok. Plus I pulled the code separately incase wowhead becomes compromised.

I beautified the code and placed it at wowhead.js if anybody wants to look at it to see if it checks out. Please do if you have any idea what it's doing.

Pair is upgrading the servers to FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE-p1. With that, comes the possibility of website downtime as I have no idea if it would work or not.

The upgrade occured yesterday (yay me for not checking).

It tooke me until this afternoon to realize that logins were not working. I upgraded to Drupal 4.7.7, and did a cursory check.
