Well the big, partially-wounded dragon finally went down through the combined effort of Enshadowed and the Pirate Penguins (that'll make an interesting band name... "Introducing Enshadowed and the Pirate Penguins"... anywho).

I sorta feel bad for him, he apologizes everytime he whacks one of us, so I guess it's only fair we say back to him: "I'm sorry friend, your death just adds to our successes."

Just thought I'd do a small update since we haven't had any events in a while.

Raiding
Our raiders are diligently hammering at Vael in BWL each week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We'll get him down eventually, the poor dragon. Onyxia and Molten Core are on farm status, so our main characters (and some alts) have been gearing up nicely. We go to Molten Core on Thursdays and Mondays, and we try to hit Onyxia on any of those days when she is reset.

All penguins are welcome to Molten Core and Onyxia. Sign up ahead of time on RaidNinja, or get in on the wait list that evening (there has been a lot of space recently). For BWL, we hope you at least have some Fire Resist gear, though if you're filling up an empty slot, you're still helping out. :)

Looks like Blizzard decided to post the talent trees and new spells for most of the classes. I'm guessing this is to put to rest some of the speculation and photoshopping.

Read 'em before Blizz has 'em taken down!

Rogues have some sweet sounding talents. Cheat Death: at max rank 20% chance to ignore an otherwise-killing attack. Surprise Attack: A strike that deals 100% weapon damage. Ouchy.

Warlocks seem to be getting lots of PvP buffs with these talents. I don't see many that appeal for PvE, particularly in instances.
